Reports to: North San Jose Campus Pastor
Summary of position: An associate Campus Pastor (ACP) at Echo.Church works in collaboration with and supports the campus pastor in leading the staff and initiatives of the campus. Their primary responsibility is to pastor ministry teams at the local campus, develop staff and leaders to effectively reach people far from God and develop them to passionately follow Jesus.

Self-starter with entrepreneurial work ethic
Track record of growing things - teams, groups, ministries, etc.
Lead campus teams - Lead and administer the campus teams in order to develop leaders and multiply volunteers. Includes leading staff meetings, create feedback/evaluation mechanisms, department goal setting, team accountability, and ministry alignment. The teams overseen by the ACP will be determined in partnership with the Campus Pastor.
Shepherd the Echo DNA - Ensure that your campus is in proactively moving toward the Echo.Church visionary goals, embracing Echo values, and prioritizing Echo main strategies
Weekend readiness - Ensure all weekend services are executed with excellence in all areas of responsibility. Work to remove every obstacle or distraction that could keep the campus from growing.
Stage communication - Be a regular part of stage communications on the weekends to connect with guests, cast vision, and move people to take next steps.
Connection & Follow up - Weekly follow up with guests and attendees taking next steps. Participate in monthly Activate experience, to engage new people into the life of the church.
Leadership Development - Work to build up the leadership pipeline of the campus and continually develop and mobilize lay leaders to serve with their gifts.
Community Engagement & Evangelism - Build relationships with lost people, city staff, business leaders, church leaders, entrepreneurs, and others in the community surrounding your campus.
Other - Benevolence requests, model discipleship, develop marketing and evangelism strategies, plan community outreach events, manage campus facilities, pioneer giving initiatives…
Teams an Associate Campus Pastor may oversee:
An Associate Campus Pastor will oversee multiple campus teams on a campus. Some roles will be in partnership with another staff, others will be through volunteer point leaders.
Teams overseen by the ACP may include:
Guest Experience- The team that welcomes you in to our Echo Campuses and walks with you from the streets to the seats. Parking attendants, greeters, ushers, coffee teams and security.
echoKIDS - The team that partners with families to invest in the next generation. Each Sunday they create an incredible experience for children to learn about God and take steps in their faith
Worship/Production- The team that crafts the worship experience in our auditorium. From worship, to the message, and every element in between.
Echo Students- The team that invests in students from 6th to 12th grade. They craft a special experience for them on Wednesdays and break out into groups.
Connections - The team that connects people into their pathway for connection and spiritual development. From connection cards, to engagement.
Echo Groups - The team that equips and trains leaders to build community at local campuses every semester.
Local Outreach - The team that coordinates local events in our city, partners with local officials / organizations, and looks for opportunities to discover needs and continually bless our community.
Echo.Church ministerial duties of all commissioned, licensed and ordained ministers includes:
Praying and giving spiritual advice for others
Leading others to worship by helping them serve with their gifts
Teaching and leading Life Groups
Sharing the Gospel message with clarity
Teaching, instructing, or organizing religious initiatives
Performing baptisms, serving communion, performing wedding ceremonies and funerals.
