Our Executive Assistant will serve the Lead Pastor as an extension of his leadership, a gatekeeper of his time, and a liaison between him and the staff. They will work closely with the Lead Pastor, stay ahead of him, and help him stay focused on the vision of Echo that God has placed on his heart.
Assist Lead Pastor in accomplishing the mission of the church.
Support Strategic Leadership Team in major church initiatives.
Protect and oversee Lead Pastor's calendar; schedule key priorities.
Anticipate problems and challenges to help Lead Pastor stay focused on leading the church and staff.
Research content and prepare notes for sermons.
Prepare and brief Lead Pastor for meetings and initiatives with documents, agendas, minutes, spreadsheets, letters, etc.
Prioritize incoming requests from staff, church attendees, and external contacts.
Make travel arrangements with detailed itineraries.
Reconcile credit card expenses.
Coordinates events, including conferences and Board Meetings.
Ah-hoc assistance in other matters, as requested by Lead Pastor to focus on ministry.
5+ years of professional administrative experience required.
Experience working in a fast-paced working environment.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
Proven problem-solving abilities with challenging deadlines and priorities.
Ability to anticipate change and react efficiently and expeditiously.
Maturity to handle confidential issues and materials discreetly.
Communicate effectively with Strategic Leadership Team and staff.
Strong teamwork skills, patience, and a willingness to offer suggestions and improvements to newly developed processes.
